Sally Blass Murray is an author, mother, grandmother, and retired elementary school music teacher with degrees in church music and music education. She enjoys music, rhyme, rhythm, and playing with words. She also loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. As a Christian, Sally believes that every child is precious and created in the image of God. She writes books to encourage young readers and teach life lessons in fun and creative ways.

Most of my career was spent as an elementary music teacher.  It was the best job in the world! While my primary goal was to build a strong, musical foundation for my students, my purpose was much greater.  Encouragement was always my theme and I wanted every child to realize their full potential and their worth.  I tried to help them discover their own unique strengths, gifts and talents while learning to respect others and build them up, as well. I now write books with this same purpose in mind! - Sally
