Sally Blass Murray

Sally Blass Murray is an author, mother, grandmother, and retired elementary school music teacher with degrees in church music and music education. She enjoys music, rhyme, rhythm, and playing with words. She also loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. As a Christian, Sally believes that every child is precious and created in the image of God. She writes books to encourage young readers and teach life lessons in fun and creative ways. She is the author of a series of five "guess who" books, entitled, God Made Me! Who Am I? Farm Animals, Zoo Animals, Ocean Creatures, Jungle Animals, and Insects.  Sally's book, entitled, When You Take A Cow On A Train, was named as a finalist in the SCWC Notable Book Awards for 2022, and is a book about encouragement, choosing to be kind, and looking for the best in others. The Most Fabulous, Wonderful Thing! will be loved by music teachers, parents, grandparents, and all who want to encourage and nurture the gift of music in little ones. Sally's new release, My Mission in the Sky - The First Christmas as told by the Star of Bethlehem is a family Christmas book and will be enjoyed by all ages.
